If you have the brief, we have the solution

A full service team
of specialists, built to deliver.

It’s tempting to respond to disappointing search performance by adding more, more content, more pages, more activity. Often the better first move is fixing what’s already there but underperforming, a slow page, a confusing structure, content that nearly answers the question but not quite. Addressing that tends to produce faster, more reliable improvement than simply adding volume.

We start by understanding what’s already on your site and whether it’s working as hard as it could, before recommending anything new. That’s not always the more exciting recommendation, but it’s usually the more effective one.

The Clever way

Built around your business,
not a generic process.

Fixing underperforming pages is often faster and cheaper than building new ones from scratch. The process below reflects that priority.

Step 1
Discovery & research

SEO Woking

We run a thorough audit covering technical health, existing content performance, backlink profile and current visibility across standard and AI search, paying close attention to pages that are close to performing well but currently falling short.

Step 2
Design & development

SEO Woking

From the audit, we build a prioritised plan covering technical fixes, improvements to existing underperforming content, genuinely new content where there’s a real gap, and structured data helping search engines and AI tools understand your business properly.

Step 3
Delivery & results

SEO Woking

We report on rankings, organic traffic and enquiries, alongside AI search visibility, with particular attention to whether improved pages are actually performing better, since that tells us whether the fix-first approach is paying off as expected.

FAQs about our website design & development services

The questions worth asking before you commit.

What's the difference between SEO, technical SEO, local SEO and AI SEO, and how do you keep up with Google's changes?

SEO is the umbrella term for getting found in search. Technical SEO is the behind the scenes health of your site, speed, structure and whether search engines can actually crawl and read it. Local SEO is about showing up for people searching near you, through your Google Business Profile, listings and maps results. AI SEO is the newer one, making sure your business gets mentioned when people ask AI tools and answer engines questions rather than typing a search into Google. More people are starting there now, so if competitors show up and you don’t, that’s ground lost quietly. We treat all four as one strategy rather than separate jobs, and we stay on top of changes by following Google’s own guidance and testing things ourselves across the sites we work on, not by repeating industry gossip.

Longer than most agencies admit, if we’re honest. Early technical wins happen quickly, but proper movement in rankings, traffic and visibility in AI powered search usually takes three to six months, sometimes longer in a competitive market, and we’ll give you a genuine timeline rather than a sales pitch. We won’t guarantee first page rankings either, since nobody honestly can promise a specific position. What we do promise is a properly resourced strategy and honest reporting throughout. If an update has hit your rankings, we’ll confirm that before building a recovery plan.

Yes, and we’d actually recommend running both. Paid gives you visibility straight away while SEO builds it over time, and when we manage both together, the keyword and audience data from one feeds the other, which makes your budget work harder overall. The difference is that organic results appear because Google judges them relevant, you don’t pay for the click, while paid results are there because someone bid for that spot. And yes, ongoing SEO still matters even if you’re ranking well already, because those positions aren’t fixed. Competitors keep investing, Google keeps updating its algorithm, and a page one spot left unattended tends to slip. Ongoing work also uncovers new opportunities your site isn’t capturing yet, which is often where the real gains are hiding.

A technical audit covers site speed, whether search engines can crawl and index it properly, how it’s structured, and whether hidden errors are silently capping performance. If it’s been over a year, or never happened at all, it’s the obvious place to start, since issues here tend to be quick wins. Page speed matters more than people expect, it’s been a confirmed ranking factor since Core Web Vitals, and a slow load loses visitors before they’ve even seen what’s on offer. Most often the first fix is one of three things, broken conversion tracking, duplicated or missing page titles, or a site structure hiding key pages from search engines.

Google uses hundreds of signals, but they mostly boil down to relevance, authority and technical quality. Relevance means your content actually answers the search. Authority comes from other credible sites linking to yours and your site’s general reputation. Technical quality is how well the site is built and how good it feels to use. Backlinks remain one of the strongest authority signals, though quality matters far more than quantity, one link from a reputable site beats dozens from low grade directories, and anything promising hundreds of links fast will likely cause harm later. Then there’s what happens on your own pages, titles, headings, content, internal links and speed, versus factors outside your site like those backlinks. Both need attention, ignoring either one leaves something significant on the table.

Keyword research means figuring out what people genuinely search for, often quite different from what you’d guess. We look at volumes, competition and how intent shifts across phrases, focusing on searches likely to actually bring enquiries rather than just traffic, and that informs the content and page structure throughout. Success gets measured via organic traffic, ranking movement and, most importantly, real enquiries and sales, a position three page that converts beats a position one page nobody buys from. A blog helps if it answers genuine customer questions, but a blog of generic posts just creates upkeep with little return.

Cheap SEO usually means shortcuts, automated links, spun content or stuffed keywords, all things Google actively penalises, and recovering from a penalty costs far more time and money than doing it properly from the start. We handle content and technical work together rather than as separate jobs, the content plan comes straight out of the keyword research, so pages are built with solid foundations already in place. Duplicate content is more common than people think, especially on online shops with multiple product versions, and we deal with it through canonical tags plus a proper audit. And a redesign is one of the most common causes of a ranking drop, usually from broken redirects or lost content, so bring us in before it starts rather than after the damage is done.

Yes, that’s exactly the territory local SEO covers, and it’s core to what we do. We handle your Google Business Profile directly, secure proper listings across relevant sites, and build content so search engines understand your location and who you’re trying to reach. This matters as much as your general rankings, often more if most customers are nearby. The Business Profile is the listing that appears when someone searches your business type on Maps or local results, frequently worth more day to day than website rankings alone, since it shows up before normal search results even load. We keep it accurate and maintained as standard practice.

The next step

It’s time to be more clever with your marketing.

Are you ready for a clear-eyed look at where you are, what’s possible, and what a structured plan to get there would look like for your marketing to help you grow? The first conversation costs nothing and comes with no obligation to work together. If there’s a fit, we’ll both know it quickly.

On our discovery call we’ll cover:

  • Where you want the business to be in the next 12 to 24 months and what your website needs to do to support that.
  • An honest view of how well your current site is serving your commercial goals.
  • What a new site would look like, what it would involve, and what to expect at every stage.

You’ll leave with a clear view of the next steps, whether that’s working with us or not.
