Graphic Design Services for Woking Businesses.
Brochures, brand materials, typesetting and marketing collateral that look as good as your business deserves.
If you have the brief, we have the solution
A full service team of specialists, built to deliver.
A genuinely good layout decision is rarely the one that looks most striking in isolation, it’s the one that makes the document easiest to actually use for the purpose it was made for. A proposal document that’s easy to navigate during a meeting matters more than one with an unusual but distracting layout. We design from function outward, and let the visual character grow from that rather than the other way round.
It’s a less flashy way to approach design work, but it produces materials that hold up properly once they’re actually being used rather than just admired.
What we cover
Graphic design services across print, digital and everything in between.
Whether you have a specific project in mind or a broader creative requirement, our graphic design team will help you choose the right format and approach.
Precise production-ready artwork and branded templates that keep your team working consistently and efficiently. From MS Office documents your team can edit themselves to print-ready files that go straight to press, created to the exact standards each format requires.
Your brand is more than a logo. It’s what people remember about you before they’ve even worked with you. We build brand identities that look sharp, feel consistent and actually get used, not just admired once and left in a drawer. Logos, colours, fonts and guidelines that make sense for your team and stand out for your customers.
The document that does the talking when you’re not in the room. Whether it’s introducing your business, showcasing a product range or backing up a sales conversation, we design brochures that look sharp and get read, not left in a bag. Clear layout, strong visuals and content that’s easy to follow, built to make the right impression every time it lands on someone’s desk.
High-impact print design for the materials your business uses to win and retain clients. Brochures, leaflets, flyers, catalogues and marketing collateral designed to communicate your offer clearly and reflect the quality of your business at every touchpoint. Our brochure design work for Surrey and Hampshire businesses is produced print-ready, on brand and built to last.

What our clients say
Businesses we've helped grow.
In their own words.
Great work is built on strong relationships and open collaboration. Over the years we’ve worked with businesses across a range of industries, and here’s what some of them have to say about partnering with us.
“Clever Marketing balanced what the brand needed with what I, personally, wanted to say. They listened, then pushed back where it improved things. The result exceeded my expectations, came in on time and on budget, and is already delivering results. Even the college alpacas behaved on camera. A pleasure to work with, and it shows in the final product.”
“I have used Clever Marketing to assist with the design of our College Prospectus for the past two years and have been really pleased with the quality of their work. They took the time to listen and understand what we wanted to achieve and gave good advice and guidance. The whole process was very smooth and painless, I would recommend them.”
“I can’t rate the team at Clever Marketing highly enough! They have worked on a large number of projects for WEL Medical – producing some great work. They are a pleasure to deal with and always provide great customer service.”
“A great experience working with Colin in producing two digital brochures. We did not always have a clear idea of where we wanted to go with the brochures but the team patiently stuck to the task and we are 100% pleased with the results.”
“Clever Marketing designed our company brochure and the results were outstanding. They understood our brand and audience, delivering a professional piece that exceeded expectations. Creative and a pleasure to work with.”
“Clever Marketing came highly recommended for our new multi-site website. Despite the complexity, they made it seamless, exceeded expectations and even helped with branding. Now working together on digital marketing.”
“Wren Sterling has worked with Clever Marketing since 2016, covering website builds, hosting, design and other projects. The team are responsive, commercial and pragmatic, working to tight briefs or solving problems creatively, so you feel in control and well advised.”
“Harry and Nico provided amazing support with the marketing tech integration. They not only provided a solution to a problem but also walked me through their methodology. I would highly recommend using the ‘Clever’ agency in the future.”
The Clever way
Built around your business, not a generic process.
A document’s function, how it’s navigated, referenced and used, matters more in practice than how striking it looks on first glance. We sort that out before moving on to the visual decisions that get layered on top.
Step 1
Discovery & research
We start with a proper brief: what the piece needs to achieve, who it’s for, and crucially how it’ll actually be used once it’s finished, whether that’s referenced in a meeting, read cover to cover, or skimmed for a specific section. That use case shapes the structure before any visual decisions are made.
Step 2
Design &
development
From the brief, we design and typeset the piece itself, whether that’s a brochure, a set of brand materials or a wider marketing collateral pack, with the practical structure settled before the visual treatment is layered on top. You’ll see drafts and have the chance to feed back before anything is signed off.
Step 3
Delivery & results
You receive print-ready and digital files, properly formatted for however you plan to use them. For ongoing brand work, we keep templates and source files on hand so future pieces stay just as functional and consistent without starting from scratch every time.
FAQs about our website design & development services
The questions worth asking before you commit.
What counts as marketing collateral, and can we come to you with nothing more than an idea?
Pretty much anything you’d put in front of a client to support a sale or build the brand counts, so that’s brochures, flyers, decks, proposals, exhibition materials and packaging. Tell us what it’s for and we can usually design it. You don’t need to arrive with finished copy either. If you’ve already got words and images we’ll typeset and design around them, and if you’re starting from nothing we can bring in copywriting support so the whole thing comes together as one job rather than two separate ones bolted together. As for commitment, some clients want a single brochure and that’s that, others stick around for ongoing support once they see what consistency actually does for them. There’s no minimum either way, so it genuinely depends on what you need right now.
How long does a project take, what files do we end up with, and do you handle the print side too?
A standard brochure project usually takes one to two weeks once the brief is finalised, through to files ready for print. Bigger brand work or multiple pieces at once take longer and we’ll always be clear on timing before starting anything. Print jobs come as press ready PDFs with correct bleed and colour profiles, digital use gets screen friendly versions, and editable source files are available too if you mention it at the brief stage. We can recommend printers we trust if you don’t already have one.
We don't have brand guidelines, and we're not sure whether we need a refresh or a full rebrand. Can you help with either?
Yes, and sorting brand guidelines before a big print run makes future work faster and more consistent. We’ll cover logo use, colour, type, tone and general style as a reference point for everything built afterwards. A refresh tidies up what already exists, proportions, typeface, maybe the colours, while keeping things recognisable. A full rebrand starts from scratch and can mean a completely new identity and voice. Most businesses need this less often than agencies suggest, so we’ll always be honest about which one genuinely fits.
Will our materials stay consistent over time, and can you build us templates our own team can use?
That’s really one of the benefits of sticking with one team rather than a different freelancer for every job. We keep your guidelines, fonts and templates on file so each new piece looks like it belongs with the last one, not like it wandered in from somewhere else. For teams producing a lot of their own material, a template is often the smart option. We’ll build a master version that looks sharp and stays on brand, set up so your team can edit it themselves without breaking the layout or colours by accident. Whether that ends up being an InDesign file, a PowerPoint master or something in Canva just comes down to what your team already knows.
Do we need to supply photography ourselves, and can you help if our copy isn't ready?
You can supply your own images, use stock, or we can commission original photography, and we’ll steer you toward whichever fits the project and the budget. Original photography usually gives the best result, though good stock chosen properly still works well for plenty of collateral. What never works is a weak image crammed into a design that deserved better. On copy, we can write it ourselves or bring someone in, whichever suits. Strong design paired with weak copy is far more common than you’d think, and it drags the whole piece down. If your text isn’t quite there yet, we’d say so rather than build a layout around words that aren’t earning their place.
What's involved in typesetting, and can you redesign something we've already got without losing the look we like?
Typesetting means getting text to sit properly on a page, line spacing, column widths, paragraph styles and how headings relate to body copy. It matters most on longer pieces like reports or technical documents heading for print production, where poor typesetting makes reading harder even when nobody can explain exactly why. For redesigns, if the general direction still works but things feel tired, we’ll freshen up layout, type and imagery while keeping what already works. We always check what’s functioning before changing things purely for change’s sake.
Do you design for digital as well as print, and can you handle exhibition stands or event materials?
Yes to both, most jobs actually need each other. A brochure might need a print version plus a screen friendly PDF built from the same brief, so we plan for where things will be seen from the outset. Exhibition graphics, pull up banners, signage and event materials come up regularly, and getting the type and layout right at different viewing distances matters a lot here. Whether something needs to read from ten feet away or up close changes decisions on size and spacing considerably.
How many rounds of revisions do we get, and can you help with social media assets too?
We work from a clear brief and build structured feedback rounds in as standard, rather than leaving things open ended and hoping for the best. That keeps the process moving without turning into an endless loop because the brief wasn’t tight enough to start with. If something genuinely sits outside the original scope, that’s a conversation about it, not a problem to be worked around. On social assets, yes, that’s very much part of a proper collateral suite now, profile images, cover graphics, post templates your team can fill in, or a set built for one specific campaign. Whatever it is, we make sure it reads as the same brand as everything else you’ve got.
The next step
It’s time to be more clever with your marketing.
Are you ready for a clear-eyed look at where you are, what’s possible, and what a structured plan to get there would look like for your marketing to help you grow? The first conversation costs nothing and comes with no obligation to work together. If there’s a fit, we’ll both know it quickly.
On our discovery call we’ll cover:
- Where you want the business to be in the next 12 to 24 months and what your website needs to do to support that.
- An honest view of how well your current site is serving your commercial goals.
- What a new site would look like, what it would involve, and what to expect at every stage.
You’ll leave with a clear view of the next steps, whether that’s working with us or not.
