Graphic Design Services for Ascot Businesses.
Brochures, brand materials, typesetting and marketing collateral that look as good as your business deserves.
If you have the brief, we have the solution
A full service team of specialists, built to deliver.
A brochure handed over at a quiet, considered meeting needs to work differently to a flyer skimmed in a busy reception or a deck flicked through on a phone between meetings. Too much design work ignores that context entirely and produces something that looks good in isolation but feels wrong in the moment it’s actually used.
We ask early on exactly where and how a piece will be encountered, because that shapes the pacing, the level of detail and the tone just as much as the brief itself does.
What we cover
Graphic design services across print, digital and everything in between.
Whether you have a specific project in mind or a broader creative requirement, our graphic design team will help you choose the right format and approach.
Precise production-ready artwork and branded templates that keep your team working consistently and efficiently. From MS Office documents your team can edit themselves to print-ready files that go straight to press, created to the exact standards each format requires.
Your brand is more than a logo. It’s what people remember about you before they’ve even worked with you. We build brand identities that look sharp, feel consistent and actually get used, not just admired once and left in a drawer. Logos, colours, fonts and guidelines that make sense for your team and stand out for your customers.
The document that does the talking when you’re not in the room. Whether it’s introducing your business, showcasing a product range or backing up a sales conversation, we design brochures that look sharp and get read, not left in a bag. Clear layout, strong visuals and content that’s easy to follow, built to make the right impression every time it lands on someone’s desk.
High-impact print design for the materials your business uses to win and retain clients. Brochures, leaflets, flyers, catalogues and marketing collateral designed to communicate your offer clearly and reflect the quality of your business at every touchpoint. Our brochure design work for Surrey and Hampshire businesses is produced print-ready, on brand and built to last.
Who we work with
Meet your Graphic Design agency near Ascot.
Plenty of design work treats every piece the same regardless of where it ends up being read. We don’t, because context changes what good design actually means:
- Artworking and typesetting - Print-ready. Done right first time.
- Marketing collateral - Keep your brand looking the same everywhere.
- Brochure design - Brochures people actually read.
- Print design - Posters, flyers, packaging. Built for print.

What our clients say
Businesses we've helped grow.
In their own words.
Great work is built on strong relationships and open collaboration. Over the years we’ve worked with businesses across a range of industries, and here’s what some of them have to say about partnering with us.
“Clever Marketing balanced what the brand needed with what I, personally, wanted to say. They listened, then pushed back where it improved things. The result exceeded my expectations, came in on time and on budget, and is already delivering results. Even the college alpacas behaved on camera. A pleasure to work with, and it shows in the final product.”
“I have used Clever Marketing to assist with the design of our College Prospectus for the past two years and have been really pleased with the quality of their work. They took the time to listen and understand what we wanted to achieve and gave good advice and guidance. The whole process was very smooth and painless, I would recommend them.”
“I can’t rate the team at Clever Marketing highly enough! They have worked on a large number of projects for WEL Medical – producing some great work. They are a pleasure to deal with and always provide great customer service.”
“A great experience working with Colin in producing two digital brochures. We did not always have a clear idea of where we wanted to go with the brochures but the team patiently stuck to the task and we are 100% pleased with the results.”
“Clever Marketing designed our company brochure and the results were outstanding. They understood our brand and audience, delivering a professional piece that exceeded expectations. Creative and a pleasure to work with.”
“Clever Marketing came highly recommended for our new multi-site website. Despite the complexity, they made it seamless, exceeded expectations and even helped with branding. Now working together on digital marketing.”
“Wren Sterling has worked with Clever Marketing since 2016, covering website builds, hosting, design and other projects. The team are responsive, commercial and pragmatic, working to tight briefs or solving problems creatively, so you feel in control and well advised.”
“Harry and Nico provided amazing support with the marketing tech integration. They not only provided a solution to a problem but also walked me through their methodology. I would highly recommend using the ‘Clever’ agency in the future.”

The Clever way
Built around your business, not a generic process.
We don’t just ask what a piece needs to say, we ask where and how someone will actually encounter it. That context informs decisions throughout the process that a generic brief alone wouldn’t surface.
Step 1
Discovery & research
We start by understanding what the piece needs to achieve, who it’s for, and crucially where and how it’ll actually be read or seen. That context shapes pacing, detail and tone just as much as the subject matter does.
Step 2
Design &
development
From the brief, we design and typeset the piece itself, whether that’s a brochure, a set of brand materials or a wider marketing collateral pack, with the reading context built in throughout rather than bolted on at the end. You’ll see drafts and have the chance to feed back before anything is signed off.
Step 3
Delivery & results
You receive print-ready and digital files, properly formatted for however and wherever you plan to use them. For ongoing brand work, we keep templates and source files on hand so future pieces stay consistent without starting from scratch every time.
FAQs about our website design & development services
The questions worth asking before you commit.
What counts as marketing collateral, and can we come to you with nothing more than an idea?
Pretty much anything you’d put in front of a client to support a sale or build the brand counts, so that’s brochures, flyers, decks, proposals, exhibition materials and packaging. Tell us what it’s for and we can usually design it. You don’t need to arrive with finished copy either. If you’ve already got words and images we’ll typeset and design around them, and if you’re starting from nothing we can bring in copywriting support so the whole thing comes together as one job rather than two separate ones bolted together. As for commitment, some clients want a single brochure and that’s that, others stick around for ongoing support once they see what consistency actually does for them. There’s no minimum either way, so it genuinely depends on what you need right now.
How long does a project take, what files do we end up with, and do you handle the print side too?
A standard brochure or collateral piece usually takes one to two weeks from a locked brief through to print ready files. Bigger brand projects or several pieces together take longer and we’ll always flag realistic timing upfront. Print jobs arrive as press ready PDFs with correct bleed and colour profiles, digital use gets screen optimised versions, and if you also want editable source files just mention that when we’re scoping the brief so it’s planned for from the start. We’ll also point you towards printers we rate if you need one.
We don't have brand guidelines, and we're not sure whether we need a refresh or a full rebrand. Can you help with either?
Yes, and getting guidelines sorted before a big print run is worth doing since it makes every project after that faster and more consistent. We’ll cover logo use, colour, type, tone and overall style, and that becomes the reference everything else gets built from. On refresh versus rebrand, a refresh tidies up what’s already there, proportions, typeface, maybe the colours, while keeping the brand recognisable. A rebrand goes right back to why the brand exists in the first place and can mean a whole new identity and voice. Most businesses need this less often than agencies tend to suggest, so we’ll tell you plainly which one actually fits where you are.
Will our materials stay consistent over time, and can you build us templates our own team can use?
This is one of the real benefits of working with a single team rather than a different freelancer for each job. We keep your fonts, colours and templates on file so every new piece looks like it belongs alongside the last, whether that’s a fresh brochure or repeated print runs for existing materials. For teams producing a lot of their own content, we can build a master template that stays on brand but lets your people edit text and swap images without breaking the layout. InDesign, PowerPoint or Canva, whatever your team already knows how to use.
Do we need to supply photography ourselves, and can you help if our copy isn't ready?
You can supply your own images, use stock, or we can commission original photography, and we’ll steer you toward whichever fits the project and the budget. Original photography usually gives the best result, though good stock chosen properly still works well for plenty of collateral. What never works is a weak image crammed into a design that deserved better. On copy, we can write it ourselves or bring someone in, whichever suits. Strong design paired with weak copy is far more common than you’d think, and it drags the whole piece down. If your text isn’t quite there yet, we’d say so rather than build a layout around words that aren’t earning their place.
What's involved in typesetting, and can you redesign something we've already got without losing the look we like?
Typesetting is the craft of getting text to actually sit well on a page, line spacing, column widths, paragraph styles, how headings relate to body copy. It matters most on longer documents like reports or technical brochure work, where poor typesetting slows readers down even if nobody can explain exactly why. For redesigns, if the general direction still works but things feel tired, we’ll refresh the layout, type and imagery while keeping the character that people recognise. We always check what’s working first rather than changing things purely for the sake of it.
Do you design for digital as well as print, and can you handle exhibition stands or event materials?
Yes to both, and honestly most jobs end up needing each other anyway. A brochure might need a print version and a screen friendly PDF built from the same brief, so we think about where things will actually be seen from the start rather than treating print and digital as separate jobs. We also work on exhibition graphics, pull up banners, signage and event brochures fairly regularly. The main thing there is knowing whether the piece needs to work from ten feet away or right up close, since that changes decisions on layout and type size quite a lot compared with something someone’s holding in their hands.
How many rounds of revisions do we get, and can you help with social media assets too?
We build structured feedback rounds into every brief as standard rather than leaving revisions open ended, which keeps projects moving without spiralling because the initial brief wasn’t tight enough. Anything genuinely outside the original scope becomes a separate conversation rather than something we quietly work around. Social assets are a normal part of a collateral set now, profile images, cover graphics, editable post templates, or a bespoke set for one campaign. Whatever we produce, it needs to read as the same brand as everything else you’ve got.
The next step
It’s time to be more clever with your marketing.
Are you ready for a clear-eyed look at where you are, what’s possible, and what a structured plan to get there would look like for your marketing to help you grow? The first conversation costs nothing and comes with no obligation to work together. If there’s a fit, we’ll both know it quickly.
On our discovery call we’ll cover:
- Where you want the business to be in the next 12 to 24 months and what your website needs to do to support that.
- An honest view of how well your current site is serving your commercial goals.
- What a new site would look like, what it would involve, and what to expect at every stage.
You’ll leave with a clear view of the next steps, whether that’s working with us or not.
