Hyster-Yale Group is a market giant with a tradition spanning over eight decades as a multinational powerhouse. The company designs, engineers, and manufactures an incredible line of lift trucks and material handling solutions that keep industry on the move internationally. With an enormous network of dealer points on every continent on the planet and a two-decade tenure of aftermarket parts support after a product lifespan, Hyster-Yale Group is shaping its market by continuously extending the boundaries of what can be achieved with material handling solutions.
Knowing they needed a marketing partner that could not only accommodate their short-term design requirements but help stimulate innovation throughout their marketing campaigns, Hyster- Yale Group approached Clever Marketing with a distinct challenge: to improve their spec sheets and technical literature with professional art-working and design. But their thinking went beyond those short-term needs. They wanted a forward-thinking agency partner – one that could look at their whole business and generate new ideas.
This was extremely appealing to Clever Marketing’s philosophy of doing more than just fill briefs, but helping to add to our client’s broader marketing strategy as well. Right from the beginning, our team had a clear grasp of Hyster-Yale’s highly complex product array and the special requirements of marketing within the material handling sector. Almost immediately we were able to show our worth by doing more than just producing high-grade design output, but thinking strategically about ways to help drive Hyster-Yale’s marketing efforts on all fronts.
We have developed an assortment of on-screen and print ready support and sales deliverables to assist relaying the value proposition of Hyster-Yale products, within strict brand guidelines. These comprise comprehensive Spec Sheets, quick comparison product battlecards, technical product brochures, user manuals, and pocket guides. For promotional campaigns, we have developed event-ready flyers and leaflets.
The Results
This cooperation with Hyster-Yale Group has been a huge success to date, bringing their marketing brochures to life as compelling levers that resonate with both dealers and end users and company feedback has been extremely positive.
